Succinylated gelatin

Succinyl gelatin is a protein extracted from collagen in animal skins, bones, and tendons after hydrolysis. It is a chemical that replenishes blood volume and improves blood circulation. This product is a white powder.

Used for blood volume replenishment in hypovolemic shock, surgical trauma, burns and infections, stable blood circulation before and after surgery and between surgeries, hemodilution in extracorporeal circulation (hemodialysis, artificial heart-lung machine), and post-spinal and epidural anesthesia. Prevention of hypotension.

Prepare succinyl gelatin and excipients according to a certain ratio, add solvent and stir evenly to prepare an injection, which is then infused intravenously. The dose and speed depend on the patient’s actual condition, such as pulse, blood pressure, peripheral tissue perfusion, urine output, etc. Pressurized infusion can be used when necessary.

It is prohibited for patients with allergic reactions to this product. It is contraindicated in patients with circulatory overload, water retention, severe renal failure, bleeding diathesis, and pulmonary edema.
